CrossFit Strong for Kids is a strength and conditioning program designed specifically for kids and teenagers ranging in ages from 3 to 15.
It is when they are young that we need to mold our children to become mentally and physically well rounded. This program is not about getting your young kids on weight, it is about getting them active and learning to move their bodies correctly so that as they get older, they are healthier. We want kids to learn, at a young age, that fitness is FUN and part of their daily routine! Healthy living requires that our kids push, pull, run, throw, climb, lift; and jump, effectively and safely regardless of whether or not they play athletics. We do this in a manner where the kids are having fun!
Our program is perfect for any child of any age; regardless ability or athletic experience. All age groups are taught the same skills and do the same WODs but, like CrossFit for adults, we scale accordingly. Three year olds will not be doing the same weight or repetition as our teens; however, they will still be moving and enjoying physical activity.
