How long have you been Crossfitting? — I did my first WOD the end of March 2010
What is your occupation? — Chief Compliance Officer, Highland Capital Management
Where are you from? — Marion, MA (tiny town near cape cod)
How did you hear about Crossfit Strong? — A Co-worker vaguely explained crossfit to me as some form of "insane" cross-training gym that could help me get back in shape. Crossfit Strong just happened to be located right near work.

How have you seen yourself change – mentally or physically – since being a part of CFS? -Before joining this spring I was disenchanted with my workout life. The gym was boring me and I kept getting injured from running. Crossfit has brought excitement back to my workouts. . Physically I've lost more than 15lbs, and I continue to see gains in my abilities. Next step...eating right!

What is your favorite move? — Cleans.
 
What is your least favorite move? — Thrusters.
What has been your favorite WOD so far? — Vice Versa B-day Wod (7-14-2010). I remember leaving this WOD completely exhausted thinking about how much harder I had pushed myself then in previous WODs. It really was a turning point in how I approached my time at the Box - it was the first time I left knowing I couldn't have given it anything else and the first time I really understood what Crossfit is about.
 
What has been your least favorite WOD ? — How could I ever dislike a WOD? I love them all so much....oh, but i do loathe any workout involving manmakers. Loathe. I look forward to this being used against me in my next B-day WOD.
 
What are some of your goals that you have for yourself in the next year? —  I would like to increase my strength and running endurance. I'm not setting targets times for benchmark WODs, I like being sort-of surprised by the gains.
How do you see CrossFit as different from other programs? — I don't even know what to compare it to, its completely unlike any training I've done in the past.
 
Did you think a sport of elite fitness would ever be for you? — Very possible. I enjoy competing and hope to check out a competition this year.
 
How can other people relate to your story? — I think everyone that joins crossfit and commits to it, if even a little bit, will relate to my story. The culture of the gym doesn't support failure by any means. The coaches and athletes believe in hard work and supporting the other members. I've left the gym tired, but never disappointed.
 
What is something that no one knows about you? — I have self-diagnosed selective OCD but also can be completely scatter-brained. For instance, I can never find my wallet but literally get uncomfortable walking to get coffee on any route other than my usual...odd, I know.
