Well. The New Year is RIGHT AROUND the corner! And as cliché as it is, what better way
to get started off right than a nutrition challenge! Be on the lookout on the main page for a sign up.
We are still finalizing the small details but the tentative start date is January 10th!

We will be holding a Nutrition class the first Saturday of January 8th
at 11am @ our box. Mark your calendars -
we will go over the challenge & your chance to ask questions!

Dates to Remeber:
- Saturday, January 8 - Information Session @ 9am at the Box. Coaches will be on hand for Q/A
- Saturday, January 15 - Program Kick-Off / First Group Run
Consider making the commitment if you want to:
• Receive coaching to improve your form and efficiency
• Increase your stamina during the WOD’s
• Improve your speed
• Successfully complete the distance race of your choice
• Run with a group
• Receive coaching, feedback, and training tips
Basic Questions -
Q: What is the cost
A: $30/month
Q: When do we meet
A: Track Workouts each Wednesday @ 6 a.m./6 p.m.
A: Saturday distance runs @ 7 a.m.
A: Mileage “homework” to be completed on your own during the week
Q: What else do I need to participate
A: Appropriate clothing to cover variety of weather, solid footwear, timing device, water bottle,
storage (for keys or personal belongings needed on the run)
A: Positive attitude, readiness to run, open-mind towards coaching and new challenges!
Do I need to a Crossfit Strong member to participate
A: Our program is open to all runners.
A: Distances are scaled to accommodate abilities and race goals.

You asked, so you will receive. We got some GREAT feedback from our trial run in Mortal Kombat!!
Thank you Charlie!! The class will continue in 2011. It will run on Wednesdays at 6:30
pm & Saturdays at
9am. We will be charging $15/mo for the class.
You can go to either class or both. Just need to RSVP

is a great opportunity for you to learn some basics about
self-defense & striking from a great, very experienced coach. If you have any questions, please

Ask for Coaching. "Remember: Leave Your Eqo at
the Door?" This saying could mean a lot of things – in regards to competition, how you interact with
other, etc. But today, it is in reference to
GETTING COACHED. The past couple of weeks, we have
held Skill Sessions for the entire class,
rather than just Athletes. We received very
positive feedback – which got us to thinking…we
offer it every class but hardly anyone takes us up
on coaching.
Even the
3rd place finishers at the Games, Chris Spealler, has said that they only way he gets better is to
work on his skills and get coached. Think of it
as an outside view.
In order to take you fitness to the next level – whatever that
level may be – competition, more weight, or faster times – practicing will definitely help you
get there. If you constantly struggle with a certain lifts, come to the skill session next time,
ask a coach to look at you before the WOD starts to help with
an assessment. We are here to HELP.
Enjoy this because this luxury is not available
at all boxes. It does not matter if you have been here 1month or 12months – everyone can get better!
