  For the styles that you guys like, the MTN-TECH, they will be thicker than the regular socks because they are made for snowboarders, etc.

  there are a couple sites that have the "good" socks:
  
  www.sockguy.com and www.defeet.com; however, they only have a few tall socks. The socks I got are from Dicks, but they wont last as long as those from sockguy and defeet, they are like the Balagas you have with a little pazazz, lol!!
