  • Pre-Regionals Golf anyone?

    Anyone interested in playing a round of golf in San Antonio before Regionals?
    Bryce Ledbetter and I are planning on playing a round of golf on the Thursday evening before Regionals begin, at a to-be-determined course. If anyone else would also like to join, send me an email or post here.   • CF Regional Information

    THIS IS THE LAST WEEK OF THE CF OPENS!!!  What happens now?  
    Each region takes the top 60 individuals & top 30 teams and they will compete to go to the CF Games in California.  This year, our region, the South Central, will be held in San Antonio on April 27-29.  The events will be held at the Freeman Collisium - 3201 East Houston St, San Antonio TX 78219.

  • Quit? It Never Even Crossed My Mind

    I had the pleasure of watching the CrossFit Games South Central Regionals two weeks ago in Tomball, Texas, with the members of Dallas’ CrossFit Strong. During workout 4 of the team competitions, one of the girls on the Strong team smashed her face on the pull-up bar.

    Like really smashed her face – bloody, broken nose and all.

  • KettleBell Certification

    Spent the weekend getting my kettlebell certification from Jeff. It was a great experience and difficult as I am still recovering from the 10ft fall from superman pullups, but as Jeff said "If youre not playing hurt, then you are not playing" or "The applications from Kettlebell training can be used in everyday life, like if you have to shoot a gun, get knocked down in a fight and need to get back up."
